Social Media Strategy of Williams fresh Café:
Williams’s fresh cafe is a Canadian coffee chain which serve
a number of food items including coffee to their consumers. However, it is
placed in a industry where large companies like Tim Horton's, Starbucks Coffee,
McDonalds, Krispy Kreme etc. compete. However, despite its small market share
and size it has maintained quite impressive social media presence. Williams
Fresh Café has its presence on all major social media networks like Facebook,
Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn and many other social media
platforms. We will try to analyze Company’s Social media strategy on these
Major Platforms.
Facebook:
Williams Fresh Café has 8,047 likes on Facebook and company is
trying to catch up with other competitors in terms of likes. Williams’s fresh café
typically posts 5 to 15 posts per month and is relatively less active in terms
of posting content on Facebook. However, Williams Fresh Café has very good
response time to user comments on Facebook. Company promotes its menu items on
Facebook through catchy images and videos. They also promote their products on
special occasions like holidays.
Twitter
Williams’s fresh café has 1376 followers on Twitter and has
impressive 2997 tweets so far. Company is also trying to catch up on twitter
and has good response time to user feedback. Just like Facebook, Williams
Fresh Café Post’s about 5 to 15 post per month. They promote all of their menu
items, Restaurant Locations and other related stuff on Twitter.

In Case of YouTube, Williams Fresh Café has a very weak
presence. The official channel has only 8 subscribers and has total 9 video’s
only posted one year ago. 7 videos are related to Franchise Training, one video
addresses franchising and the other video promotes customer loyalty program of
the company.
Instagram
In Case of Instagram, the company is trying to improve their
presence. Williams Fresh Café has 695 followers and 857n posts so far. The Instagram
page has discontinued post pattern but it can be observed that Williams Fresh Café
Posts 10-15 posts (Pictures or Videos) in a typical active week. Company promotes
its coffee and other products and promotions by posting very attractive
pictures and content for consumers.
